Will You Be One Of The Traverse 100?

Registration Is Open!

This summer, innovative educators will gather at Traverse Boulder in Colorado and Traverse Portland in Oregon to re-imagine school as a hub for real-world learning. At either location, they'll be inspired by leading speakers, engage with peers from across the country, and head out on learning expeditions that offered hands-on experience with new ways to engage students in real-world problem-solving.

Registration for both Traverse programs is now open, and limited to 100 attendees each.

Traverse Boulder June 4-6, 2018

Traverse Portland June 25-27, 2018

Imagine a workshop where you head off campus in a bus. Imagine a conference where you're one of the experts speaking to your peers. Imagine learning new ways to teach by doing them, hands-on, like a student would. Imagine brainstorming with Post-Its and a local microbrew as you sit on a patio with a view of the Rockies or Mt. Hood. Imagine an experience where you not only leave with new ideas, but leave with new collaborators.

Traverse is a different kind of professional experience for educators. It's hands-on, real-world, and built on the expertise of the people in the room. It's a small group of innovative educators learning together and caring about each other beyond the event itself. At Traverse, you'll be challenged to try things, take risks, make connections with other educators, and leave inspired to lead your school toward the future of learning.

You'll do all of this in two of the most beautiful, inspiring settings in the country. Traverse is growing this year: Traverse Boulder is happening on the campus of Watershed School, and Traverse Portland is happening on the campus of Catlin Gabel School (Portland, OR).

Knowing that the best learning happens in a diverse environment with multiple perspectives, we would like to expand our attendee base by inviting people from all walks of life and backgrounds.  Please reach out to your networks toward that end.
